This Life Style Event took place on a warm evening in April in the gardens of the Vila Joya Hotel which is renowned as having the best restaurant in the whole of Portugal.
This 2 Michelin star resort attracted many high-profile personalities from as far away as Lisbon. The 250 guests enjoyed music supplied by Bang & Olufsen Almancil with their excellent speakers placed conspicuously throughout the gardens. Show cooking was demonstrated by some of the top chefs of the region against this splendid backdrop. 
Everybody heartily agreed that the prestigious event was a huge success and should certainly become a new tradition in the Algarve.

On 10th and 11th April Bang & Olufsen Almancil presented the latest revolution in the digital world - BeoSound 5 - at a spectacular Easter event.

Together with 3 other business partners they welcomed 400 guests to enjoy fantastic catering and live entertainment during the presentation of BeoSound 5.
The visitors were overwhelmed by the stunning event and had great fun playing with this revolutionary sound system.

Bang & Olufsen Almancil surprised their guests - especially the ladies - with a game where a real diamond was placed in one of the champagne glasses. The guests could test "their" diamonds to see if it was false or genuine. The winner was a Swiss lady who left the party a little richer!

Bang & Olufsen, Almancil was one of the sponsors at the Final Round of the BPI Golf Event in Portugal.

The game was played on "The Old Course" - a renowned course for all golfers familiar with Portugal. The winners will participate in the
BPI Expresso finals at St. Andrews in Scotland in December.

The BPI Golf Event takes place every year in various places in Portugal including the islands.

In July B&O was one of the sponsors at the golf tournament in Vilamoura. B&O provided the television sets to broadcast the game of the previous year during the tournament and, during lunch, the game of the day.
One of the VIP guests was Ricardo - the portuguese goalkeeper in the national team.

B&O Almancil was the main sponsor for the Charity Event at the Vale de Lobo Golf Course in May 2008.
A tent was set up to exhibit the BeoVision 9 together with BeoLab 5 and BeoLab 9 speakers. The event collected over € 50.000 which was donated to several local charities aiming to help needy people become more independent.

Approximately 70 guests attended the official opening party of Bang & Olufsen, Almancil on 7th March 2008.
Although the store opened in October 2007, it was decided to have the celebration later when more "contacts" had been established.

Catering was performed by the Italian chefs  Pietro and Stefano.
